Karl Kim, Theoretical Designer
Karl is an expert in Theoretical Design encompassing User Interaction Theories, Human Factors and Usability issues, GUI Design Principles, Information Architecture and Visual Design Strategies.
Karl's deep understanding of form, proportion and arrangement go far beyond what is normally found in software interface designers today. He uses his skills to create interaction models that guide the end user to a quick understanding of the capabilities of software systems.
Prior to founding Orbik, Karl was previously with frog design where he was a Senior Designer for four years leading design teams on international projects. His last assignment at frog design as the principal architect was a complete redesign/re-architecture of Dell.com e-commerce site that launched in 1999 in over 80 countries.
At Orbik, his experience and knowledge on information and interaction design endeavors involved him as a Senior Information Architect and Usability Consultant for Dell Inc. on numerous mission-critical internal and external applications. Today, Karl continues to work with both frog design and Dell on various assignments as Orbik clients.

David Bluestein, Senior Technologist
David graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Masters degree in Physics and Public Affairs.
Since the early nineties, David has been an Internet developer, working with a variety of languages across many platforms.
He has been Program Manager and Technical Lead on many technologically driven web sites.
David has worked on sites such as Dell.com,
AMD.com and Gerber.com (Gerber Baby Food).
